RIFTERRA Privacy Policy

BCI AI Agent (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates RIFTERRA (package name com.bciaiagent.rifterra). This Privacy Policy explains what information RIFTERRA processes, why it is used, and the choices available to players.

1. Information we process

Account and authentication data

• Google Sign-In credential data used to authenticate the player, including a Google-issued account identifier. The ID token is used to establish an authenticated game session.
• A pseudonymous RIFTERRA account identifier used to connect saved game progress and purchases to the correct player.
• A player-selected display name.

Game and social data

• Character progression, inventory, equipment, missions, map discoveries, virtual currency, combat state, region and session state.
• Messages submitted through regional game chat and related moderation or rate-limit records.
• Limited gameplay events and aggregates, such as session entry, tutorial completion, combat milestones, equipment changes, deaths, respawns, and region progression.

Purchase and technical data

• Subscription product, entitlement status, expiration time, purchase state, and store transaction references needed to provide or restore access. Payment-card details are processed by Google Play and are not available to us.
• App version, platform, connection timestamps, diagnostic information, and security or server logs. Network providers may necessarily process an IP address to deliver the service.

2. How we use information

• Authenticate players and protect accounts from unauthorized access.
• Save and synchronize game progress across sessions.
• Provide multiplayer play, chat, cooperative events, and matchmaking.
• Process, verify, restore, and prevent abuse of subscriptions.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, balance, and improve RIFTERRA.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce the RIFTERRA Terms of Service.

3. Service providers and disclosures

We use the following providers to operate RIFTERRA:

• Google: Google Sign-In, Google Play distribution, app updates, and billing.
• RevenueCat: subscription entitlement and purchase-status management.
• Hosting and network providers: game-server hosting, content delivery, security, and encrypted network transport.

We do not sell personal information and RIFTERRA does not include third-party advertising. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect players or the service, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate safeguards.

4. Retention

Account and game-progress data is retained while the RIFTERRA account is active so that progress and paid access can be restored. Recent chat is kept in a bounded in-game history. Daily gameplay aggregates are normally kept for a limited operational period. Purchase and security records may be retained longer when needed for fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

After a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize account-linked information unless retention is required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record purposes.

5. Security and international processing

RIFTERRA uses encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections and server-side access controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Service providers may process information in countries other than the player’s country, subject to their safeguards and applicable law.

6. Player choices and rights

Players may request access, correction, or deletion of account-linked data. Account and data deletion instructions are available at https://bciaiagent.com/rifterra/delete-account . A subscription must be canceled separately in Google Play; deleting the app or a RIFTERRA account does not automatically cancel it.

7. Children

RIFTERRA is not directed to children under 13. A player who is below the age at which they may independently consent to data processing in their country should not use the online service without authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game or applicable requirements change. The current version and effective date will remain available at this URL.
